The Alcock, Thompson and Taylor ad campaign featuring Nitidus track “The Taste” off the 21 Alibis EP extends across the FM network, due to be aired on breakfast radio on 104.3 Gold FM.  If you’re in the Melbourne area, listen this Thursday 17^th Dec from 8.20am.  We’re told the ad will be on at 8.26am on the dot…. set your alarms if you’re like us and not morning people!

If you turned on to 105.1 Triple M in the last two weeks, you will have heard a familiar track amongst Nitidus circles. As part of Alcock, Thompson and Taylor Billiard Tables advertising campaign, The Taste off Nitidus’ recent 21 Alibi’s EP has been doing the rounds on the M’s (we always knew we’d slip it through the back door past the program manager somehow!). To hear Nitidus in gut busting digital surround sound, tune into The Peanut Gallery with Jeff and Paul weeknights from 6.00pm. Oh, yeah… and buy a billiard table from those funky cats at Alcocks…

Yes, we did say there were three songs recorded late last year. So far we’ve given you a listen to the first two tracks: What’s It Gonna Be? and The Taste. Now finally, after much stalling (hey, ya gotta admit the last blog post was pretty cool!), we’re giving you the final track from the latest Nitidus studio sessions: 21 Alibis!

OK, so we already had that song online before, but that was the demo version. Now finally 21 Alibis gets the proper studio treatment and it’s available in all it’s glory on Myspace and also on our new Facebook page. Go check it out and hear the difference for yourself, we think you’ll be impressed.

Tonight, Nitidus have released their first new song in over two years! Head over to Myspace and listen to 21 Alibis, the title song from our recent US tour. 21 Alibis is one of several demo tracks that were recorded in Marki’s mobile studio sporadically since January this year. Most of you who have been to see our rock shows this year will no doubt recognise the song. 21 Alibis highlights a new groove-rock style that the band has been creating in its current line-up. We feel it is the next evolution of the Nitidus sound and hope you enjoy this first taste.

It’s been almost two years since we shared all four full tracks from the Still Here EP on Myspace. Initially intended to be a limited-time offer, the tracks proved to be quite popular and had stayed ever since. Now that we’re back from the States and have some new demos completed, we figured it was about time to share some new sounds with you guys. Keep an eye out, there’s more of the good stuff on the way. Spread the word.

Hey rockers, Nitidus are officially on the road in LA. Marki and Adam made the journey across the Pacific Ocean a few days before PC and myself (Doctor K). The band finally reunited in West Hollywood, as you can see in our first video on the tour.

Before our first gig date at the Key Club, the band will be taking a few days to get in tune with the local culture by checking out Universal Studios and cruising down Sunset and Santa Monica Boulevards.
